EUA processam Benfica

US government sues portuguese soccer club
The Great Seal of the United States of America has been adopted by an Act in Congress since 1782. Never codified by law, E pluribus unum is though considered a de facto motto of the United States, since correctly in latin it should be Est pluribus unum. Symbolically, the use of the incorrect latin phrase E pluribus unum is only due to having 13 letters. It represents the initial 13 colonies that became the United States, inspiring the shield with 13 vertical stripes. The Great Seal also features 13 stars. The Eagle is the national bird and an exclusive symbol of the United States of America, grasping 13 arrows and 13 leaf olive branch with 13 olives with its talons. The misuse of this symbolism is sued in the USA since it is an exclusive governmental right. The motto E pluribus unum, considers the US Government, has thus been misused by the Portuguese soccer team Sport Lisboa e Benfica. The similarities are also considered obvious since the founders have since February 28, 1908 incorporated the eagle and acquired the red and white stripes as their team color. As a result the US government recently initiated a process to sue the portuguese soccer club for the immediate exclusion and ban of both motto and symbol from their logo, under the international patent and copyright act.
